What is NLP?

Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP) is a technique or process used for self-development and business success. It was founded by Richard Bandler and John Grinder early in the year 1970's. The three key words, as it says in NLP, provides a broader vision of this phenomenal technique.

Neuro                     refers to our mind and how we map the world internally.

Linguistic               refers to how we use our language and in turn how it can affect us.

Programming         refers to how we sequence our actions in order to achieve the desired goals.

In short NLP is all about You programming Your brain to get Your ultimate desired goals.

There are Principles in NLP often referred as Presuppositions, which forms the basic foundation of this technique. These principles are modeled by the key people who produced successful results by using the natural laws and systemic theory. A few principles are listed below.

• The meaning of your communication is the response you get.
  While you communicate to other person, your intention may be clear to you but the response you get from the other person depends upon his/her interpretation. Hence your communication.
• We already have all the resources that we need or that we can create them.
  There are no unresourceful people but there is only unresourceful state of mind.
